Sales and Service Adviser

Job Description

You will be experienced in handling sales over the phone, liaising with our field-based technicians in order to price quotations and sell products to our customers. There is no cold-calling, only inbound bookings, so you’ll be looking to optimise every opportunity that comes your way.

As such, you will need to be a quick learner, able to retain and communicate product knowledge confidently.

Customer service skills will also be paramount, as you’ll be expected to uphold standards and represent the company professionally when dealing with our customers. As part of our head office team, you’ll also be a team player, who is confident communicating with colleagues and senior management.

You will be able to balance the commercial requirements of the business alongside effective time management, whilst maintaining attention to detail. You will be using our in-house software and job booking systems, so IT literacy will also be very important.

A highly motivated and ambitious salesperson, you will always be focused on achieving your targets.

Responsibilities

Sales

  • Liaise with field-based technicians to price quotations.
  • Keep up to date with our latest products and services in order to advise and offer customers the appropriate options.
  • Understand the needs and desires of our customers.
  • Log quotations and job information accurately using our in-house CRM system.
  • Meet sales targets as set by senior management.

    Customer Service

  • Handling inbound phone calls in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a professional phone manner and offer excellent customer service at all times.
  • Answer customer queries accurately and help to solve their problems.
  • Take customer details and record accurate information.
  • Booking customers on our in-house system and keep them updated as required.
  • Advising customers on callout charges and approximate prices for repairs.
  • Deal with customer complaints, escalating to senior management where appropriate.


    From time to time, as according to the demands of the business, you may be required to perform additional tasks outside of these listed responsibilities.

Essential Requirements

The following are essential requirements in any candidate:

    • Previous telephone sales experience and experience with negotiations.

    • Confident and eloquent communicating with customers and colleagues.

    • Reliability and time management skills.

    • Good attention to detail.

    • A practical, commercial mindset, with customer service experience.

    • IT literate (MS Office Suite), previous experience with CRM and other systems an advantage.

    • Available to work from home, with a suitable working environment, including Saturday shifts.

Pay & Benefits

£10.50 per hour, with generous sales commission.

OTE £26k. 28 days holiday (including statutory)

Aerial & Satellite Technician

Job Description

Ask yourself the following questions:

  • Have you been in the aerial or satellite trade for a minimum of one year?
  • Do you have sound practical knowledge of installing and servicing aerials, dishes, extra points, and TV wall mounting?
  • Are you confident in surveying and advising on new and replacement installations?

 

What You Can Expect

You can expect the following when you work for us:

  • Busy & reliable – we’re not sub-contractors and we don’t rely on 3rd parties for work. We don’t overman territories and like to keep our technicians busy.
  • Essentials – we provide a fully-stocked van, access equipment, power tools, meters, company mobile and a fuel card.*
  • Health & Safety – working at height certification and PPE provided at our expense.
  • Benefits – employers contributory pension and 20 days paid holiday (plus statutory).
  • Teamwork – your colleagues look after routing, appointments, sales and admin so you can concentrate on doing what you do best.

*You are responsible for providing hand tools.

Essential Requirements

If you do not meet the requirements below, your application will not be considered:

  • Good communication skills, fluent in spoken English.
  • Tidy and respectful attitude.
  • No current serious criminal convictions or criminal driving offences.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in the trade.

 

Pay & Benefits

You can expect the following pay and benefits:

  • This is a permanent, full-time, employed position with a basic salary startting at £39,000 per annum, plus a generous bonus and commission scheme.
  • 28 days paid holiday (including statutory).
  • 5 day working week over 6 days, Monday – Saturday.
  • Vehicle and equipment provided and paid for by the company.

Residential Garage Door Technician

Job Description

  • Have you been in the residential garage door trade for a minimum of one year?
  • Do you have sound practical knowledge of repairing, installing and servicing residential garage doors?
  • Are you confident in surveying and advising on new and replacement installations?
